How Gloroq Works
Gloroq is an esports tournament platform built for gamers. Whether you want to compete, organize, or just be part of the action, everything you need is in one place, with one account.
Gloroq is free to use. Right now, during our MVP stage, everything on the platform is open to you at no cost.
-> For Players
Discover tournaments: Browse available tournaments across multiple games. Each listing shows the game, format, prize pool, registration deadline, schedule, and essential rules.
Register as a team or solo player: Some tournament games require a team (PUBG, CODM, Valorant, and similar). Others are individual (eFootball, Mortal Kombat, Dream League, and similar). The registration type is always clearly shown before you register.
Join with a team: If a tournament game requires a team, create one and add your members using their Gloroq ID, or send them a link and password to join securely. Any player can create and join teams. When your team is ready, the team creator registers the whole group with a single button. No forms to fill.
Register as a solo player: For individual games, you register directly. No team needed. One click and you are in.
Get added to the community automatically: The moment you register for a tournament, you are added to that tournament's community channel on Gloroq. This is where the creator posts updates, schedules, and announcements for everyone involved.
Message the organizer directly: Have a question or an issue? Use the ticket feature to send a direct message to the tournament creator/organizer privately, without it getting lost in the community channel.
Follow the schedule: Every tournament can publish a full event schedule — group stages, knockout rounds, and grand finals — so you always know when you are playing and what is coming next.
Track the bracket live: Once a tournament moves into competition, follow brackets in real time. See who you are up against, how rounds are progressing, and how standings shift as results come in.
Watch the action live: Creators can attach stream links directly to their tournament (Twitch, YouTube, Kick, TikTok) so you can watch the broadcast without hunting for it elsewhere.
-> For Tournament Creators
Create a tournament: Set up your tournament in minutes. Add a title, description, supported games, registration window, schedule, and player or team cap. You can host multiple games under a single tournament.
One tournament, multiple games: Host both solo and team-based games under a single tournament. Gloroq automatically knows how each game works and handles registration accordingly. No configuration needed.
VIP and direct add: Skip the waiting. Add any player or team directly to a game in your tournament without them going through the standard registration flow.
See everyone who registered: Your management dashboard gives you a full view of every team or individual player registered per game, including all their details. Organized, readable, and always up to date.
Export registration details: Download the details of all registered players whenever you need them.
Assign managers: Add admins to your tournament to help oversee registrations, communicate with participants, and keep things running on your behalf. You stay in control while they handle the work.
Communicate with all participants: A community channel is created automatically when you set up a tournament. Everyone who registers is added to it without any extra steps. Use it to post updates, share schedules, and keep your community in the loop in one place.
Receive direct messages from participants: Participants can reach you privately through the ticket feature. Respond, resolve issues, and keep communication clean without spilling into the community channel.
Build a tournament schedule: Add structured schedule blocks for each phase of your tournament (registration windows, group stages, knockout rounds, and finals)— so every participant knows exactly what is happening and when.
Run full bracket competitions: Generate and manage brackets directly on Gloroq. Single elimination, group-stage hybrids, round robin, double round robin, and scorecard formats are all supported. Seed participants, record results, resolve ties, and let the bracket advance automatically.
Close registration when you are ready: Do not wait on the clock if your roster is set. Close registration early across all games with one action and move straight into bracket seeding.
Accept or reject registrations: Keep complete control over your roster. All incoming registrations are marked as pending until you or your managers approve them.
Move players to the waitlist: Keep options open. You can easily move pending players to a waitlist while you verify eligibility or sort out tournament slots.
Set prize pools and crown winners: Define prize breakdowns per placement and record winners when your tournament wraps. The finalized winners' list remains permanently tracked and visible on the tournament page for transparent record-keeping.
Attach stream links: Link your broadcast channels directly to the tournament so participants and spectators can find the stream in one click.
Upload game rules: Attach rules documents per game so every participant has the official rulebook before they register or compete.
Track tournament stats: Your analytics dashboard gives you a clear picture of registrations, engagement, and how your event is performing as it runs.
-> Private and Public Tournaments
To keep Gloroq safe and trustworthy for every gamer, all tournaments are created as either private or public.
Private tournaments: Published immediately but not listed on the homepage or tournaments page. Only people with the direct link can find and register for them. This is ideal for closed communities, invite-only competitions, or organizers who want to manage their own promotion.
Public tournaments: Appear on the Gloroq homepage and tournaments listing page, giving them full visibility to every user on the platform. Before going live, public tournaments go through a verification review within 24 to 48 hours. This process may include the Gloroq team reaching out to the creator to confirm the tournament is legitimate. Creators with a verified account and a strong hosting track record move through verification faster.
This system exists to protect players from fake or misleading tournaments and to maintain the quality of what appears on the platform.
-> The Community Channel
Every tournament on Gloroq has its own dedicated community channel, created automatically the moment the tournament is set up. Every player or team that registers is added without any extra steps. The creator and their managers use it to communicate with everyone at once. Participants stay in the channel throughout the tournament, even after elimination, so the conversation and energy stay alive all the way to the final.
-> Where We Are Today
Right now, the whole platform is wide open: compete, organize, communicate, and run brackets. No paywall standing between you and the games.
We are building this out of pure passion. Gloroq is a central hub for gamers.
That said, proper infrastructure has real costs. We are currently bootstrapping this project and plan to expand our infrastructure for speed and scalability very soon. When that time comes, core features stay free. Some advanced capabilities may carry a small cost, but nothing that changes what Gloroq is or who it is for.
We are also open to collaborations, sponsorships, and partnerships. Reach out to the team at squad@gloroq.com.
-> For Gamers Everywhere
Gloroq is open to everyone in the world. To make that real (not just say it), we are actively working on worldwide edge delivery, multi-currency support, and multi-language support. All three are coming very soon, so whether you are in Lagos, London, São Paulo, Seoul, or Las Vegas, the platform meets you where you are.
-> Help Us Build Gloroq
The best way to support us right now is simple: use the platform, tell us what you think, and let us know when something breaks.
We are actively shaping Gloroq with the people who use it. Your opinions, feedback, and bug reports directly influence what we build next. If something feels off, if you have an idea, or if you spot a bug, reach out to us using the feedback button at the bottom left corner of the screen. We read everything.
